Around the park

The creek, the pool, and the grounds as they look now.

  • Early sunlight breaking through the tree canopy in shafts across a clearing.
  • A narrow suspended footbridge with metal handrails crossing the creek into the woods.
  • Silver Creek running shallow over a broad sandbar, shaded by trees on both banks.
  • The campground swimming pool inside its fence, with loungers set out along the deck.
  • A covered patio hung with string lights, glowing at dusk against the treeline.
  • The creek bed winding through a wooded ravine below steep earth banks.
  • Canada geese grazing on the grassy bank beside the creek.
  • A golf cart parked on the grass, decorated with American flags and red bunting.
  • A wide gravel road between camping sites, with cabins and trailers along one side.

Guest guidelines

How we keep the park a good place for families.

  • Check in and pay at the office before parking at your campsite.
  • The speed limit is 8 mph throughout the campground.
  • Please keep to the gravel roads and off the grass in campsites.
  • Trash bins are located throughout the park.
  • Firewood is available at the office — please don't cut live trees.
  • Small campfires are welcome unless a burn ban is in effect.
  • Quiet hours begin at midnight. Please keep music family friendly.
  • Smoking is not permitted in the cabins or bath houses.
  • The sand pile is the kids' playground — no riding on it.
